Shipping policy
We aim to get your order to you quickly and safely. Here’s how shipping and delivery work with Findlay Creek Soap Company.
Local Delivery
- Free local delivery within a 10 km radius of Findlay Creek.
- Deliveries are made on Thursdays (email us if you need alternate arrangements).
- No minimum purchase required.
- Provide any delivery instructions at checkout to help us deliver efficiently.
- A photo of the delivered package will be taken and stored for 90 days as proof of delivery.
- An order is considered undeliverable after two (2) attempts; undeliverable orders are refunded within seven (7) days of the final attempt.
Order Pickup
- We no longer offer pickup in Findlay Creek for online orders.
- If you’d like to pick up at a market or event we’re attending, email info@findlaycreeksoapcompany.ca in advance to arrange it.
Shipping (Canada Only)
- Carriers: Canada Post or UPS.
- Ontario: $5 flat rate, tracked.
- Rest of Canada: $10 flat rate, tracked.
- Free shipping on orders $75+ (calculated before taxes and after discounts).
- For orders not covered by a flat rate (e.g., remote addresses surcharges), rates are automatically calculated at checkout.
Processing & Notifications
- Orders ship within 2 business days of being placed.
- During peak periods (holidays, promotions), processing may take a little longer—if so, we’ll let you know.
- You’ll receive email and/or SMS updates with tracking when your order ships and when it’s delivered.
- If we experience an unforeseen delay, we’ll contact you promptly.
Estimated Transit Times (guidelines only)
- Ontario: typically 1–3 business days after shipment.
- Rest of Canada: typically 3–7 business days after shipment.
- Actual delivery times may vary by carrier, destination, weather, and peak season volume.
Damaged or Missing Orders
- If your order is damaged or not delivered, email info@findlaycreeksoapcompany.ca within 48 hours of the marked delivery (or expected delivery).
- Please include your order number and photos of the outer packaging and item(s).
- We’ll advise next steps (replacement, refund, or return if applicable) and coordinate with the carrier as needed.
International Shipping
- We currently ship within Canada only.
